Dengie Alfa-A Oil provides the same amount of slow release energy compared to a conditioning or competition mix, but it contains 10 times less starch. This makes it suitable for horses prone to digestive upsets, or those that behave erratically after feeding. Alfalfa used in this mix has been dried at a very high temperature, this reduces the risk of mould dramatically & the extraction processes mean a low dust content is consistent through the range.
